No word on how he died, but foul play has been ruled out.

He will be greatly missed.Barbatihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10009318911171924260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8178922425957925414.post-75992997132164081272009-03-07T20:11:00.000-08:002009-03-07T20:11:00.000-08:00This is very sad indeed. I had no idea that I would eventually end up here in Greensboro, living only 2-3 miles from Russell Peck's home.

I wasn't able to aid in the volunteer search brigade this week due to rehearsal commitments. However, some of my friends did. He's been on our minds all week. Please keep the Peck family in your thoughts and prayers.musictimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05430572552932891234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8178922425957925414.post-65093800887960955962009-03-01T04:40:00.000-08:002009-03-01T04:40:00.000-08:00Good find James. Good for all to view. I will cross post this on my blog as well to help get the link out there.Mark T. Our quartet has some great ideas on using tunes from Disney and/or Broadway -- some amazing music that can be reborn in great ways for sure. If I just had time to do the arranging :-)

I would agree -- tapping into these genres more is a great way to bring sax to the masses.Mark T.
